گزیدة سیاست‌نامه و قابوس‌نامه، اثر مشترک دکتر جعفر شعار و دکتر نرگس روان‌پور، درس‌نامه‌ای است که برای دانشگاه پیام نور تهیه شده، و هدف آموزش برخوانی و فراگیری ادبیات فارسی است. در پایان هر حکایت، پرسش‌هایی به عنوان خودآزمایی مطرح شده که دانشجو را در یادگیری و تمرین کمک می‌کند. شرح عبارات و معنی واژگان در پانویس آمده است، نیز در پایان کتاب پاسخ‌نامه، و کتابنامه درج شده است.

سیاست نامة خواجه نظام الملک در باب شیوه‌های کشورداری و سیاست، با حکایت‌های شیرین همراه است و در دورة سلجوقیان تألیف شده.

قابوس نامه نیز از عنصرالمعالی از امرای آل زیار و دبیر سلطان بوده است، این خاندان ایرانی نژاد به ظاهر فرمان خلفای عباسی را گردن نهاده بودند و باطناً با سلطة تازیان بر ایران مبارزه می‌کردند.

هر دو اثر در قرن پنجم نوشته شده، و جزو آثار ادبی سرشار و حاوی مطالب کشورداری، ایران شناسی، تاریخ و جغرافی، و از دیدگاه جامعه‌شناسی آیینة عادات و رسوم روزگار خویش و آثاری بسیار گران‌بها هستند.

Book introduction:

Gezideh Sithyannameh and Qaboosnameh, the joint work of Dr. Jafar Shaar and Dr. Narges Ravanpour, is a textbook prepared for Payam Noor University, and its purpose is to teach the reading and learning of Persian literature. At the end of each story, self-examination questions are asked to help students learn and practice. The description of the phrases and the meaning of the words is given in the footnote, also at the end of the answer sheet and bibliography.

Khwaja Nizam al-Mulk’s policy book about statecraft and politics is accompanied by sweet anecdotes and was written during the Seljuk period.

Qaboos Nameh was also one of the elements of al-Ziyar and the Sultan’s secretary. This family of Iranian origin had apparently obeyed the orders of the Abbasid caliphs, and inwardly they were fighting against the power of the Tazians over Iran.

Both works were written in the 5th century, and are among the rich literary works that contain matters of statecraft, Iranian studies, history and geography, and from the sociological point of view, they are a reflection of the habits and customs of their time and are very precious works.
