زنده یاد دکتر شعار، از کودکی قرآن و عربی را از پدر آموخت، در 15 سالگی به ادبیات فارسی عالقمند شده و از 20
سالگی به تدریس و تالیف مشغول گردید. وی با پیشینة 55 سال تدریس و پژوهش در حوزههای زبان و ادبیات فارسی، متون
کهن، زبان عربی ، شعر و متون معاصر، بیش از 64 عنوان کتاب، 21 عنوان کتاب درسی و 40 مقاله از خود به جای گذاشت، که
شرح آن در »شناخت نامه و مجموعة مقاالت دکتر شعار«، به کوشش فرزندان ش و نصیر شعار آمده است.
وی پایه گزار شیو ههای نوین در گزیدة آثار فارسی، برای استفادة دانش جویان، و پژوهش گران و دانشگاه ها بود:

The deceased, Dr. Shoār, learned Quran and Arabic from his father since childhood, became interested in

Persian literature at the age of 15, and started teaching and writing at the age of 20. With a background of 55

years of teaching and research in the fields of Persian language and literature, ancient texts, Arabic language,

poetry and contemporary texts, he left behind more than 64 book titles, 21 textbook titles and 40 articles,

which are described in ” Dr. Shoār’s letter of recognition and collection of articles have been created by the

efforts of his children and Nasir Shoār.

He was the founder of new methods in the selection of Persian works, for the use of students, researchers

and universities:

– “Collection of Persian Literature” in collaboration with Dr. Hassan Anvari and Dr. Yadullah Shokri (24 selected

titles, and with other selections more than 32 titles),

– “Ganj e Adab” with 20 titles of selected Persian literature
